Now that spring break is over, I am gearing up to find peer mentors and participants to join our program.
The idea for this program is that the peer mentor (the high school teen) and the participant (the grade 7 girl) will buddy up to share wisdom and experiences of being a girl in this day and age.
We know that peer support works.
We know it's the best support out there.
Who would you listen to more?
a) your parent who went through high school a million years ago
b) a girl in your home town that is going through high school now
Tough question. Both people have different experiences and views and opinions.
Time is a gift that gives us perspective. (Listen to your elders)
And, there is no time like the present. You can trust someone who you can relate to, you can see yourself in them, you believe that they can understand you.
Life is a long learning process and along the way we will meet many teachers.
Our project hopes to put 12 year old girls in the mix with 17 year old girls to see what they can figure out together.

welcome
Pass It On PG is a peer mentor project for young girls. It provides the amazing opportunity for grade 7 girls to connect with teenage girls to chill out and have fun. The aim is to support the development of all by creating lasting memories. We will have workshops and events that address challenging topics such as body image, mental wellness and self-discovery.
Pass It On PG is now accepting both mentors (grade 11-12) and mentees (grade 7).
If you're interested or know anyone who may benefit from this program, please contact passitonpg@gmail.com.
